White Garlic Ricotta Pizza

A creamy and savory white pizza featuring ricotta cheese and roasted garlic on a crispy crust, perfect for an easy Italian-inspired meal.

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a baking stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.
  2. In a small bowl, mix minced garlic with olive oil.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  4. Transfer dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet.
  5. Brush the dough evenly with the garlic olive oil mixture.
  6. Spread the ricotta cheese over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  8. Season with dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheeses are bubbly and slightly browned.
  10. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a drizzle of truffle oil before serving or sprinkle red pepper flakes for heat.
