Lemon Pepper Chicken Pasta

Lemon Pepper Chicken Pasta

Lemon Pepper Chicken Pasta is a zesty and flavorful dish combining tender chicken, al dente pasta, and a bright lemon pepper sauce for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and lemon pepper seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden. Remove from skillet and slice.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. Adjust seasoning with salt and more lemon pepper if desired.
  7. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or serve with a side of steamed vegetables.
