French Dip Sliders

French Dip Sliders are mini sandwich bites filled with tender roast beef and melted cheese, served with savory au jus for dipping. Perfect for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or casual dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
  • 6 slices provolone cheese (halved)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onions until soft and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Add garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the onions; stir to combine.
  4. Place the bottom halves of slider buns in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the sautéed onions evenly over the buns, then add sliced roast beef and provolone cheese.
  6. Place the top buns over the sandwiches and cover the baking dish with foil.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, until cheese is melted and sliders are heated through.
  8. While sliders bake, heat beef broth in a small pot until simmering to serve as au jus.
  9. Remove sliders from oven and serve immediately with warm au jus for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a dash of horseradish sauce to the roast beef before assembling the sliders.
