Homemade Boursin Cheese on White Plate

Boursin Cheese is a creamy, flavorful French cheese infused with garlic and herbs, perfect as a spread or appetizer ingredient.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream (optional for extra creaminess)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add minced garlic, parsley, chives, dill, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture and stir well to combine.
  3. If desired, stir in heavy cream to make the mixture extra creamy.
  4. Transfer the cheese mixture to a serving dish or form into a ball using plastic wrap.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled with crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For a more intense garlic flavor, roast the garlic before adding. You can also customize herbs to your preference or add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a kick.
