  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 (3.9 oz) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 1/4 cups cold milk
  • 1 (15 oz) package chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g., Oreos), crushed
  • Mini candy-coated chocolate eggs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add powdered sugar and continue beating until well incorporated.
  3. Fold in half of the whipped topping until combined; set aside.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened.
  5. Gently fold pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Layer the dessert by placing crushed chocolate cookies at the bottom of each small pot or cup.
  7. Add a layer of the pudding mixture over the cookie crumbs.
  8. Repeat layers, finishing with a layer of crushed cookies on top.
  9. Garnish with mini candy-coated chocolate eggs.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving for best flavor and texture.

Notes

For added crunch, mix some chopped nuts into the crushed cookies or top with fresh berries for a fruity twist.
