Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow flavors to develop.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  5. Remove chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and juices run clear.
  6. Remove chicken from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra smoky flavor, consider adding a dash of liquid smoke to the marinade or grilling over wood chips. Serve with Texas Roadhouse-style sides like seasoned fries or a fresh salad.
