Baileys Irish Cream Brownies

Decadent and rich Baileys Irish Cream Brownies combine the smooth flavor of Irish cream with fudgy chocolate for an indulgent dessert perfect for any occasion.

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (90g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix in Baileys Irish Cream until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. If using, fold in chocolate chips for extra texture.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For an extra decadent touch, serve warm brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with melted chocolate ganache.
