Easy Tender Steak Bites With Pesto Alfredo Tortellini Sauce

These steak bites with tortellini are tender, juicy, and quick to make! With just a few ingredients, this will become a family favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 9 ounces cheese tortellini
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the steak cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  3. While the steak is cooking, cook the tortellini according to package directions. Drain.
  4. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet with the steak. Toss to combine.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use butter instead of olive oil to cook the steak. Serve with a side of garlic bread for a complete meal. Add a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
