Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese sticks, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 14-inch circle.
  3. Carefully transfer the dough to the prepared pizza pan. Arrange the mozzarella cheese sticks around the edge of the dough, leaving about 1 inch of dough exposed.
  4. Fold the edge of the dough over the cheese sticks and pinch to seal, forming the stuffed crust.
  5. Brush the stuffed crust with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder and oregano.
  6. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the center of the pizza dough.
  7. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni slices.
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a spicier pizza, add a pinch of red pepper flakes along with the pepperoni.
