  • 6 fresh, ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches with 1/4 cup of the sugar and the cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  5. Pour the melted butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Pour the batter over the melted butter. Do not stir.
  7. Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
