Smoked Salmon Spread

A creamy and savory smoked salmon spread perfect for appetizers or snacks, combining rich smoked salmon with tangy cream cheese and fresh herbs.

  • 200g smoked salmon, chopped
  • 100g cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers, drained
  • 1 small shallot, finely minced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Add the chopped smoked salmon, lemon juice, chopped dill, capers, and minced shallot to the bowl.
  3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined but still slightly chunky for texture.
  4. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the spread to a serving dish, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Serve chilled with bagels, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For extra zest, top the spread with additional fresh dill and a few capers right before serving.
