Slow Cooker Queso Dip

This creamy and flavorful Slow Cooker Queso Dip is perfect for parties or cozy nights in, combining melted cheese and spicy ingredients for a deliciously smooth dip.

  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place Velveeta cheese cubes, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes and green chilies, onion, green bell pepper, and jalapeño into the slow cooker.
  2. Pour milk over the ingredients and sprinkle garlic powder and cumin on top.
  3. Stir to combine all ingredients evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring halfway through to ensure smooth melting.
  5. Once fully melted and creamy, switch slow cooker to warm setting to keep the dip warm.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier dip, leave the jalapeño seeds in or add a few dashes of hot sauce. This dip pairs perfectly with crunchy tortilla chips or sliced veggies.
