Pear Gorgonzola Flatbread

A deliciously crisp flatbread topped with sweet pears, tangy Gorgonzola cheese, and a drizzle of honey, perfect for a sophisticated snack or light meal.

  • 1 pre-made flatbread crust (10-12 inches)
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Fresh arugula for garnish
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the flatbread crust on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Arrange the pear slices evenly over the flatbread.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese and chopped walnuts over the pears.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from oven and drizzle with honey.
  7. Top with fresh arugula and season with freshly ground black pepper before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, serve with a light balsamic glaze drizzle or add prosciutto slices before baking for a savory twist.
