Easy Onion Beef Fried Rice Recipe

This Onion Beef Fried Rice recipe is quick, easy and tastes great! A simple dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. Enjoy!

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups cooked rice, cold
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and stir-fry until softened.
  4. Add rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the skillet. Stir-fry until heated through.
  5. Add beef, peas, and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry until heated through.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use cold, cooked rice. You can also add other vegetables, such as broccoli or bell peppers.
