  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly cracked
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest (from 1 lemon)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon zest, and lemon juice until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
  5. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, pat the wings dry before seasoning and consider broiling for the last 2-3 minutes. Serve with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing.
