Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • For the Honey Sriracha Glaze:
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and browned, flipping halfway through.
  5. While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  6. Once the Brussels sprouts are roasted, remove them from the oven and transfer them back to the bowl.
  7. Pour the honey sriracha glaze over the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For extra crispy Brussels sprouts, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet. You may need to roast them in batches. You can also add a squeeze of lime juice at the end for a brighter flavor.
