These honey garlic chicken thighs are incredibly delicious, easy to make, and perfect for a weeknight dinner. The combination of sweet honey and savory garlic creates a flavor explosion that everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • 5 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce.
  7. Serve immediately with rice and your favorite vegetables.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the honey garlic sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
