Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 4 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cubed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: Whipped cream or ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the pie crust onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  4. Arrange the peach mixture in the center of the pie crust, leaving a 2-inch border.
  5. Fold the edges of the crust over the peaches, pleating as you go.
  6. Dot the peaches with the cubed butter.
  7. Brush the crust with the beaten egg.
  8. Sprinkle some extra sugar on the crust if desired.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the peaches are tender.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.

Notes

For best results, use ripe but firm peaches. You can also add a pinch of nutmeg to the peach mixture for extra flavor. If the crust starts to brown too quickly, cover it loosely with foil during the last 10 minutes of baking.
