Cranberry Brie Puff Pastry Cups

Delightful puff pastry cups filled with creamy Brie and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for an elegant appetizer or festive snack.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut into 12 squares.
  3. Press each square gently into the muffin tin cups to form little pastry cups.
  4. Place a cube of Brie cheese into each pastry cup.
  5. Top each with about one teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  6. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh thyme if desired.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a small drizzle of honey on top before serving or substitute cranberry sauce with raspberry preserves.
