Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites

Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites

Transform a can of cinnamon rolls into delicious, dippable French toast bites in minutes for a fun and easy breakfast or brunch treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12.4 ounce) can refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Reserve the icing packet. For smaller ‘bites’, cut each cinnamon roll into 2 or 4 pieces.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and optional ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Heat butter or cooking spray in a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  4. Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated on all sides.
  5. Place the dipped pieces into the hot skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Transfer the cooked cinnamon roll French toast bites to a serving plate.
  8. Warm the reserved icing packet in the microwave for 10-15 seconds (or run under hot water) until it’s a pourable consistency. Drizzle generously over the warm French toast bites. Serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra treat, serve with fresh berries, a dollop of whipped cream, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
