  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked penne pasta and ground beef to the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the pasta and ground beef. Cover the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
