  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely diced green onions
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese

  2. Form the mixture into 5 equally sized patties.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Carefully place the crab cakes in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
  5. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality jumbo lump crab meat. Be gentle when mixing the ingredients to avoid breaking up the crab meat too much. You can also add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little extra heat.
