  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin on or off
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon and shrimp dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, toss the salmon and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. Place the salmon, skin-side down if using, in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.
  7. Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with chopped parsley.
  8. Serve immediately.
