  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix well with your hands until thoroughly combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and drain any excess grease.
  7. Brush the top of the meatloaf with balsamic glaze.
  8. Return to oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the glaze is set.
  9. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the meatloaf mixture. Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetables.
