Crispy Air Fryer Zucchini Fries

Air Fryer Zucchini Fries

Enjoy a guilt-free crunch with these crispy air fryer zucchini fries, a healthy and delicious alternative to traditional potato fries. Perfectly seasoned and air-fried to golden perfection, they make an excellent snack or side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (optional, for extra crispness)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, dipping sauce

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry zucchini, then trim the ends. Cut each zucchini lengthwise into 1/2-inch thick sticks, resembling fries.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the zucchini sticks with olive oil until lightly coated. In a small separate bowl, combine flour (if using), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the zucchini, tossing well to ensure all sides are evenly coated. For best crispness, arrange zucchini in a single layer in your air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  4. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model.
  5. Carefully remove the crispy zucchini fries from the air fryer. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara, ranch, or sriracha mayo, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley or Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For an extra cheesy flavor, sprinkle a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese over the zucchini during the last 2-3 minutes of air frying.
